Maine Commercial Masonry

Plan first. Build right. Finish clean.

What You Can Expect
Expect a clear scope and schedule before we start, a full office-to-field hand-off, safe and organized sites, and consistent updates… no surprises.

Our Process

How We Work

  • We start with your plans and specs.
  • Our estimator and pre-construction team review details, materials, and schedule.
  • We flag conflicts and send RFIs early.
  • You get a clear, itemized proposal with inclusions and exclusions.

We use a written pre-construction program that guides us from award to mobilization.

Typical items we lock down:

  • We start with your plans and specs.
  • Our estimator and pre-construction team review details, materials, and schedule.
  • We flag conflicts and send RFIs early.
  • You get a clear, itemized proposal with inclusions and exclusions.
This step removes design, material, or clarity issues before work begins.

Before we mobilize, we run a full hand-off meeting from Pre-Con to the field crew.

We issue a Project Charter that includes:

  • Final scope and responsibilities
  • Schedule, phasing, and milestones
  • Drawings, details, RFIs, and addenda, submittal status and material tracking
  • Production targets and manpower plan
  • Site logistics and equipment needs
  • Safety requirements and JSA/JHA templates
  • Communication plan and contact list
Everyone starts on the same page—no guesswork on site.

  • We schedule deliveries, set up laydown, and bring equipment.
  • Machine operators and shop managers stage what the crew needs.
  • We protect adjacent work and coordinate with other trades.

  • Foreman verifies layout.
  • Our trained crew erects scaffolding and performs daily scaffold checks.
  • We set up dust control, water, power, and waste handling.
  • Silica controls are in place before cutting or mixing begins.

  • Each day starts with a safety talk and a Job Safety/Job Hazard Analysis (JSA/JHA).
  • We track production, materials, weather, and photos in the daily report.
  • Your project manager gets regular updates, even daily when needed, weekly at minimum.
  • We keep the work area clean and organized.

We build to the approved mockup and specs.

Checks we perform throughout:

  • Mortar color and joint profile
  • Flashing, weeps, and water management
  • Reinforcement, ties, and embeds
  • Control/expansion joints
  • Tolerances, coursing, and plumb/level
  • Curing and protection
We self-punch before you see a punch list.

If scope changes or unforeseen conditions arise, we document fast:

RFI → pricing (if needed) → written approval → proceed.

No slowdowns. No gray areas.

  • We complete final cleaning and protection removal.
  • O&M data, warranties, and as-built notes go to your team.
  • We walk the job with you and close items promptly.

Need a small fix, sealant refresh, or future tie-in? Call us. We stand behind our work and respond quickly.

Our Promise

Safety, Every Day

Safety is built into our process.

  • Crews are trained in scaffold erection and safety.
  • Silica exposure controls are planned and enforced.
We aim for zero incidents and a clean, predictable job site.
